Acoustical performance of wall and floor ceiling assemblies is not only reliant on a good acoustical design, but also making sure that design is properly implemented from the specification of materials to the correct installation of these assemblies. This program will discuss some basic acoustical terms, products, variables in acoustic design and improper field conditions that will affect the acoustical performance. This program will focus on partitions and floor/ceiling assembly construction.
